Space For Construction

Kiambu and Nairobi!
Something is not adding up my friends!
I am a mathematician so I know
We have evolved a lot, our appetite has changed, and Our Needs have changed
From our forefathers who found pride in owning spacious land and building villages together as a way of promoting unity and conserving the land, to the greedy us who needs just a space enough to build a home, rental houses or apartments for sale.

Land is a very thorny issue in Kenya, In fact I am not a prophet but I foresee problems way too complex for us to handle in the future if at all the land Issue is not going to be solved amicably. However complex things keep on getting tough on matters pertaining land, Land companies and brokers on the other hand continue making owning land like just a ‘Call of nature.’ The kind of advertisements being run in the media tells it all. They come in all types of flavours and scents, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Lavender etc. Hardworking Kenyans can’t wait to own a piece of our motherland.
Whether a 30*65 or 40*80 or 50*100 with a title, close to electricity and water. The kind of divisions I can see on our land is crazy. Yaani tunajenga nyumba with the four walls za nje being perimeter walls. That is not a major problem, The kind of procurement processes with this kind of land companies are the craziest part of owning land in Kenya, and which is just a trap to the gullible Kenyans who believe that going to the grave without owning land is a sin.
How on earth do you buy a precious asset like land through a till number? Where in Kenya can you get viable land worth 50k na upate title na stima na maji? I see their clever way of advertising nowadays, that land in let’s say malaa is costing between 150k to 400k. Hata shoes in bata have a fixed price sembuse ploti? I am not telling you to abort your mission with Gakuyo, Faith and Hope, Ahadi, diamond properties etc, No, I could be wrong in my observation. Maybe things are this easy nowadays ni vile tu sina pesa ya kununua, But I support regulation of this land selling and brokers and clearly scrutinizing of this companies because all we are hearing is a cry from the hardworking Kenyan. There is too much conman ship and gameplay with people’s money and ambitions.
